Absolutely nothing compares to a beach celebration at one of the legendary beaches surrounding Port Douglas and the Daintree. Here you have the Coral Sea in the background, sunlight sparkling like diamonds off the water and fresh sea breezes kissing your faces. Opposite the azure ocean water is the gentle swaying palm trees with their leaves tinkling like champagne glasses and home to singing birdlife that add that extra magical touch.
There are a number of beaches suitable for a wedding ceremony or photo shoot, some with resorts and executive homes close by for an easy walk from the ceremony to the reception venue.
Four Mile Beach in Port Douglas is an iconic setting for wedding ceremonies and a perfect location for photographs. The beach, as it’s named, is miles long and has several secluded spots perfect for an intimate ceremony. There is a coconut grove, a beach setting with a park behind and another spot accessible by a beautiful boardwalk.
